It is about a clown, Pennywise, who preys on children and their fears. In the town of Derry,Maine a group of misfits join together to fight against the evil clown. They each have different encounters with the clown. One of the kids, Ben, learns that kids have been disappearing for years.
They go on a hunt for one of the missing children who they believe may still be alive. The kids find Pennywise’s lair and discover all of the children dead. The clown comes out and they all fight him. They are able to escape and promise that they will return if Pennywise ever comes back.
If you enjoy scary movies then It is right up your alley. Violence, blood, and gore are all main aspects of this movie. The actors are amazing and it is hard to believe how young most of the actors are. The plot is great and there are many references to the original movie. I would definitely recommend this movie.
